What we have been up to…
Volunteer Training day
Four of our amazing volunteers attended the first training session on how to complete the initial mould making. Our volunteers work within bereavement services and are regularly involved with supporting families who are experiencing baby loss.
In the training session we used reborn dolls to practice the mould taking process. Each of the volunteers were very surprised by how simple to process was and ended the day feeling a lot more confident about carrying out the process for other families.
Using the moulds taken during the training session we completed the casting process so we have a display box to present to families who are considering having the service done after their loss.
